ABOUT ME:
Hi, I'm Dave Terruso.
I'm a sci-fi/mystery/horror novelist based near Philadelphia.
I have two major series:
1) The Off-World Mysteries, a series with space exploration, teleportation, and sentient robots, and
2) The Alter Ego Series, an illustrated novel series about a detective hired by an archvillain to uncover the secret identity of the world's only superhero.
I’m also a stand up comic. I’ve opened for acts including Richard Lewis, Gilbert Gottfried, Dana Gould, Tim Meadows, Colin Quinn, Maria Bamford, and Dan Soder. I've been featured on the RISK! Podcast, episode 350 Out of Bounds.
I’m the co-founder of Philly Sketchfest, an international comedy festival that’s been around over a dozen years.
I have a dog named Nicki and a stray cat named Caramel who comes to stay with us from time to time and comes with us on walks because he thinks he’s a dog.
